Timeatlas

Notes and daily glance for Time Atlas.
Overview

Timeatlas

Use Time Atlas from Raycast: jot a note for any day, or open a quick summary of today — sleep, places, steps, distance, and notes.

No API keys, no database, no extra install. If Time Atlas is signed in to iCloud on your Mac, this extension just works.

What you need

  • macOS with iCloud Drive turned on
  • Time Atlas installed and signed in

If something is missing, both commands show a setup screen with links to fix it (iCloud Settings or Time Atlas) and a way to recheck.

Commands

Add Note

  1. Pick a date (defaults to today)
  2. Write your note
  3. Press Add Note

The note is saved into your Time Atlas iCloud folder. Time Atlas picks it up on sync. Until then, Today at a Glance already shows it.

Today at a Glance

Open a list + detail view of today (rows with no data are hidden):

  • Overview — one-line summary of the day, plus notes
  • Sleep — total sleep (wake-day night, matching Time Atlas)
  • Places — visit path for the day
  • Steps — synced day step total (at-place walks as a breakdown)
  • Distance — active distance moved
  • Notes — journal notes for today (including ones you just added from Raycast)

Useful shortcuts:

  • ⏎ / ⌘C — copy the one-line summary
  • ⌘⇧C — copy today’s notes
  • ⌘R — refresh from iCloud

Preferences

Time Atlas iCloud Folder is optional. Leave it empty unless your Time Atlas data is not in the default iCloud Documents location.

Privacy

Everything stays on your Mac and in your Time Atlas iCloud folder. This extension does not send data to any server.
